Trail jams have become just as synonymous with this time of year as beers with pumpkin spices added to them! The crew out at the Seattle’s Greenlake Trails have decided to get in on the action with a Halloween jam of their own on Sunday, October 30th. Come on out and you could walk away with some prizes if you have the best costume, go the highest, do the best trick or come up with the best line! They are even doing a new rider clinic at 1pm, so bring out a friend who doesn’t ride and get him stoked…

I can’t believe it, but the Halloween jams at Catty and Posh are just a little under two weeks away. Seriously where is the time going?! You know the deal, costumes aren’t required but they are HIGHLY encouraged. You might even win something if yours is deemed the best! There will be a prize raffle to help raise money for the trails’ insurance, and they’re also asking that everyone who comes out kicks down at least $5 to go toward the cause. It’s that time of year where the majority of post are going to be related to jams in some way or another. Got to get them in before the weather takes a dive! The Figure 8 Trails out in St. Louis are throwing a benefit jam for the trails. Come on out, kick them a little money to help keep the trails rocking, and enjoy a day of roasting some midwest soil. There will be various contest throughout the day, so you could win yourself some prizes for throwing down something rad or getting real sideways!
Here’s another one to mark down on your calendars. The Gully Trails in Winston Salem, North Carolina are throwing a Halloween jam on October 29th. Costumes are highly encouraged of course, and there will be a contest for the best one, as well as contest for highest air, best trick and best kick out. Sounds like a good time if you ask me!
There’s a jam going down on October 15th at the public trails located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s Pinehurst Park. The trails have been growing steadily for the past few years, and the locals would like to help continue that growth by getting as many people out for the jam as possible to show the city just how much enjoyment they bring the community. October rolling in soon means that it’s time for Adelaide City Dirt’s annual Octoberfest Jam. It seems like every time I look on Instagram I see pictures of serious work being put in down there. I’m sure that’s going to translate into the place running better than ever for this year’s jam. Octoberfest always looks like a blast, so it will definitely be worth your time to check it out if you just so happen to find yourself in that part of Australia on October 2nd. First and foremost, I have my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for the jam this year The Garden because it definitely hasn’t been too kind to them the past few years. This Sunday (9/25) is the date that they’re going with, and they’ve already come up with a backup date of October 2nd just in case. North Carolina’s ever evolving China Grove Trails are the place to be this Saturday. Come on out and enjoy a day of shredding some of that find NC clay. September’s month of jams continues on with one at the Decoy Trails this coming Saturday (9/10). Decoy Jams always look to be a good time so you should definitely try to be there if at all possible.
