I used to make my way down to Florida every winter for the annual Stileman Jams that took place at different trails throughout the state. When I first started heading down there all of the trails had carpet over them in order to make them ridable. You had to pump a little harder but in most cases they rode pretty well. Eventually people figured out that they could buy loads of clay to cover the jumps with instead. Seeing this video of James Murphy hitting some old school carpet jumps brings back memories of those early Florida trips!
