The locals at Washington’s Kopachuck Trails have been fighting for the last few months to try and save the spot. Unfortunately despite their best efforts the plow came and razed the trails that had been in existence for 25 years. I’m super bummed that they were not able to work out something with the school district who own the land that the trails were on. It’s such a shame that they weren’t able to recognize the history and positivity that the trails had provided for a quarter of a century. On a positive note, the locals already have something new in the works on land they own. Hit the jump button for the documentary teaser they put together back in March, as well as a picture of the trails just before they were plowed.
