This video that Ben Polaschek uploaded from a session he, Nick Palmquist and Josh Nendza had in his backyard back in 1998 sure did put a smile on my face! Back then it seemed like there where sketchy setups like this everywhere. You’d hear rumors of some kid with a jump in his backyard, and after a little hunting sure enough you’d find something like this tucked away behind a random house. Those were the days! If you ever wondered why our Fisher shirts have 1998 on them, here’s a perfect example!
Benny Polaschek gave the start of his back/side yard line a bit of a reworking last year with a fresh new roll-in (one that presumably can’t be pushed over by hand). Check out this little video of the demo and build, as well as some footage of Ben, Glenn Dussl and Jeremy Ball throwing some laps down on the newly revised setup.
Here’s a look at Carrie’s secret BMX garden AKA Ben Polaschek’s trails. It’s a little long and pretty random but it gives you a good look at the setup and the antics that go on back there. The line they have looks really fun but I would absolutely refuse to pedal around that berm. Spotted on The Union
