I’m learning all kinds of stuff this Memorial Day! The latest being the fact that Donald Redmon is really fucking good. I had never even heard of Donald until I came across this edit, but something tells me we’ll be seeing a lot more from him in the future! The trails part of it starts at 01:19, but the whole thing is worth a watch!
Marysville Bike Shop is celebrating the season with a Spring Jam at Burlington Bike Park on May 21st. There are rumors floating around that this may be the last jam at the park’s current location, so you may want to try and make it out to get some final laps in on the current setup.
Washington’s Burlington Bike Park is teaming up with Marysville Bike Shop to throw a New Years Jam/Contest this Saturday (1/30). How many of you out there wish that place was within driving distance right about now!? The festivities start at 5pm, and there will be plenty of prizes and even a cash purse for the pro class.
Steven Bafus and filmer Jack Anderson teamed up to put out this edit to coincide with the release of Deity’s new Cryptkeeper V3 frames (more on those later). It has a little bit of a different style than most of the stuff I post, but I was really feeling it. I’m sure the remix of a Biggie Small classic that they chose for the soundtrack had at least a tiny bit to do with that!
Deluxe have gone and picked themselves up a serious shredder in the way of James Van De Kamp! Check out this welcome edit and get ready to see a lot more from him in the future. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely looking forward to it!
The Burlington Bike Park has already been open a year! Where does time even go? Here’s a Vital edit from the one year anniversary jam/contest that went down over the weekend. I can’t even remember the last time I posted a Vital video.
Could indoor dirt bike parks be the new thing? It’s something that has always been talked about, but up until very recently the only I can think of off the top of my head to come to fruition is the dirt room at Rays. Now there is the Burlington Bike Park and this new one in the UK called Dexx North East. Something like this could have been a saving grace around here with how shitty this winter has been! You can check out a bunch of the Dex North East right HERE.
Ok, this wasn’t really what I had envisioned in my mind that it would be, but I had already started the post before I figured that out. Oh well! The Burlington Bike Park is what got me excited about this in the first place. Or should I say my desire to see more of the Burlington Bike Park. Unfortunately, this pretty much just focuses on one jump and people’s ability to 360 downside whip said jump.
Finally some good footage of the Burlington Bike Park! I had no idea that Toledo Joe was behind it. Interesting!
It’s not much but here’s another look at the Burlington Bike Park! It’s slim but there may be a chance of me checking the place out this winter!
