Trek – Cam McCaul & Ryan Howard Ride Gorge Road

Definitely the first time I’ve ever posted a video from Trek. I saw this video floating around yesterday with Queensland, New Zealand in the title and figured that it had to have some Gorge Road in it. It took skipping to the 02:30 mark to find it, but it is indeed in here. That brings up another first for me; seeing people ride Gorge on big bikes. It’s funny how that extra little bit of contact patch that the bigger tires have makes such a significant difference in how things sound.

Post Office Final Sessions

On Tuesday the hammer fell on the Aptos Post Office Jumps. Riders from all over the world have been making pilgrimages there over the last few weeks to pay their respects and get in a final session at the legendary spot. Milan Recknagel from GetaBMX was one of those riders, and he put together the most perfect farewell edit possible. I mean seriously, could you have picked a better song than Free Bird? He also shot some photos that you can check out HERE. I just hope he put his cameras down long enough to actually ride!
