With them playing host to the first stop of the UK BMX Dirt Series, Jason Aliano’s Trails had a lot of eyes on them earlier this year. I can only imagine the amount of pressure that put on the locals to get the place running and looking its best. This edit from Mark Taylor gives us a look into the scene after the contest had come and gone, and the locals had the place all to themselves and were able to reap the benefits of all that hard work they put in.
The UK BMX Dirt Series wrapped up with a final event at Lakefest. The two jump setup was quite a departure from the full on trails that the first two rounds were held at. Even so, I think it turned out pretty damn good, and I’m definitely a fan of the double rollers they snuck in before the first set! Props to Craig Teague and the rest of the crew behind the series.
With the first round of the UK BMX Dirt Series only being about a month and a half off, the builders are busy getting things dialed in at the host trails. Event organizer Craig Teague drops by the site of the first round, Jason Aliano’s trails to check on the progress and take you through the lines, both existing and planned. There’s also some quick interviews with the builders and a little riding as well. And I can’t not mention the shovel fit for a giant that they make for Jack Griffin!
Stay Strong‘s UK recruit Craig Teague racked up the miles driving around the US on his journey to visit Stephen Murray in California. Riding from the Stay Strong Compound, Sheep Hills, and even a little Eastside set to the soothing vocals of Don Henley. I can dig it!
