Nothing but the sweet sounds of tires, hubs and the motorway in this raw Leatherhead edit from Elliot Woodhouse!
We’re headed off to Jersey to check out the supercross race so I’m leaving you with Elliot Woodhouse’s 30 minute UK trails masterpiece for the day. Give it another watch and then go build something rad this weekend!
Do yourself a favor and round up some friends, grab some beers and then figure out a way to watch this on your tv, because this 30 minute UK trails edit from Elliot Woodhouse deserves to be watched on the big screen and in good company! This is seriously like a who’s who and where’s where of UK trails awesomeness!
This look into the history of the Hastings BMX scene from Source BMX is packed with classic footage from the Backyard Jam, including the INFAMOUS Chasm Jump. I remember seeing a few magazine pics and video clips of that thing back in the day and thinking it was the craziest shit ever. Twenty years later, and after all the wild things that have gone down in BMX since, I still think the Chasm is up there among the craziest. I mean just think about the bikes they were hitting that shit on. Absolute fucking lunacy!
I love how quickly people crank out edits these days! It’s Monday morning and we already have one coming through from the two day G*Y*P*O Jam that went down over the weekend. I definitely think that this is of those jams that has transcended into being a full on event! An event that even attracted the attention of The Fids!
The Chasm Jump is first thing that comes to mind whenever I hear anything about the legendary Backyard Jams. That thing got gnarlier and gnarlier every year! Eventually it ended up having what can only be described as a moat filled with stagnant toxic sludge in the middle. Hit play on this trailer for a the documentary on the Backyard Jam that’s in the works and you’ll see exactly what I mean. I absolutely can’t wait for this!!!
This weekend saw the GYPO Trails celebrate their 20th Anniversary with two days of bikes, food, music, and partying. Folks from all over made their way out to partake in the good times. Even The Fids showed up to make it a real party!
It’s always a treat when new Fids footage pops up! He and a few friends ventured to Malaga for a week of Spanish concrete and trails, and we should all consider ourselves lucky that Matt Pierre had his camera rolling. It is kind of strange that there isn’t any footage from the trails next to the Malaga park. Oh well, the other trails in Malaga are in here. I’m getting old though cause I’m once again drawing a blank on their name.
Well another year is drawing to a close and it just so happens to be the first full year that CYDI has been in existence. The other day I got to thinking that it would be cool to put together a list of “my” top 10 trails web edits of 2013. I had a few immediately in mind and figured I’d just take a look back through the archives to find the rest. Big mistake, because I ended up jotting down like 30 different videos. It took a bit but I finally settled on what I think is the cream…
