I can say without a single doubt that A LOT of you are going to be stoked on Van Homan’s new signature stem from Fit. Putting that completely badass Little Devilized Fit logo aside for a moment, it’s just a damn good looking stem. Classic, clean and somewhat reminiscent of the OG S&M Enduro stem from back in the day. The measurements are spot on; 53mm reach, 28.5mm stack, 24mm rise, a weight of 12.3 ounces, and of course made in the USA. Then there’s that completely badass Little Devilized Fit logo beautifully machined into the side. Fucking awesome! They’re…
It looks like Dig and Fit are bringing back their “12 Days of Aitken” this year, starting off once again with his Empire East part. Even nearly two decades later, Jim’s trails still look crazy. They sure weren’t anything to Mikey though!
We’ll just go ahead and get all the complete bike promos out of the way. Here’s the one for Fit’s TRL that features Riley Jordan putting it through its paces at Sheep Hills. The real test would be how the paint job holds up to that toxic Sheep moon dirt!
A street rider sponsored by Fit riding dirt while decked out in full S&M race gear? A complete bike from Fit with graphics that pay homage to a classic frame from S&M? The boss man Chris Moeller letting someone steal his helmet and then roost him? This is interesting on all kinds of different levels!
You can now add “beige hornet” to the list of color options for Chris Harti’s signature Fit Hartbreaker frame! Apparently we’ll have some words from Mr. Harti himself as to just why he chose this color, but for now you can refresh yourself on the specs and check out some more pics of the new color after the jump. You can also pick one up straight from the Fit Store if you’re itching to pull the trigger on snatching one up. It’s apparently a limited edition color, so you may want to get on that!
I’d kind of forgotten how good BF’s Stay Fit part was until I randomly rewatched it the other day. In my opinion, that bomb drop 360 is the craziest thing that’s ever been done at Posh! Well, that and Mulligan cartwheeling down the damn thing.
Looks like Ride hasn’t quite forgotten about us lowly trail riders after all, as they just put up a bike check on Brian Foster’s chromed out stead. That thing looks damn good but we may need to get a petition going to get a bigger sprocket up on there! You can peep Brian’s current ride and get the full parts rundown right HERE.
I still get excited thinking back on how awesome it was when Mikey won Dew Tour in his own hometown!
We as trail riders have a slight tendency to ride frames and parts a lot longer than we really should. It’s nothing for someone to show up in the woods still rocking a frame with an American bottom bracket and press fit headset, (Shawn Shoener, I’m looking in your direction). The thing about it is that both frames and parts really should be replaced every a few years. No one wants to find themselves in a twisted ball of metal and flesh because something catastrophically failed due to fatigue. Take a second to think about the forces and stress that…
Brian Foster’s signature frame has been noticeably absent from Fit’s lineup for the past couple of years. I was actually beginning to wonder which frame BF would pick if he decided to build up a new bike. Well it looks like maybe it is time for him to build up a new ride because Moeller just announced via his Instagram that Fit is about to start on a small batch of BF frames. I’m not sure exactly just how many a “small batch” is, but you may want to hit up your favorite Fit dealer now if you want to…
