The weather was absolutely perfect for this year’s Halloween Jam at Catty. A little rain the night before had the trails in prime condition, and unlike last year, it was warm and not a bit windy. I’m not 100% sure, but this very well may have been the biggest turnout yet!
I’ve been frothing for the last few weeks waiting for this Leatherhead edit from Ed and Gavin Mitchell’s NR8 Productions to drop. Not that I ever had any thoughts that it would disappoint, but god damn did it ever not disappoint. Trust me when I tell you that this is the best thing that you’re going to see all weekend!
Sorry it’s been a few weeks since the last flashback post. For some reason Fridays have been especially crazy for me lately. I’m back on it though with Bicycle Union’s PA Woods edit from 2013!
We’re headed off to Jersey to check out the supercross race so I’m leaving you with Elliot Woodhouse’s 30 minute UK trails masterpiece for the day. Give it another watch and then go build something rad this weekend!
Do yourself a favor and round up some friends, grab some beers and then figure out a way to watch this on your tv, because this 30 minute UK trails edit from Elliot Woodhouse deserves to be watched on the big screen and in good company! This is seriously like a who’s who and where’s where of UK trails awesomeness!
Looks like I have another frame to add to the ol’ 2016 Trails Frame Buyers Guide! United and Bicycle Union have a history of collaborating together on some rad stuff, the latest being the new “Prime Mover” frame. Slim tubing, classic geometry, Skeletor on the graphics, and includes a Bicycle Union top tube pad; sounds like a winner to me! Give the promo video above a watch and then hit the jump for the pics and specs!
Came across this video of Freddie Househam and a few friends enjoying the sun, warmth, bowls, and El Cable Trails of Spain. I could definitely go for all of those right about now!
Freddie Househam was kind enough to break out the camera a bit last week while he was enjoying some Spanish concrete and soil with a few buds. The parks are pretty amazing, but feel free to jump to 00:51 if you want to get straight to the trails.
About this time last year I sat down and compiled a list of The Top 10 Trails Web Edits of 2013 (according to me). It wasn’t easy to whittle all of 2013’s edits down to just ten but I was happy with the final list. A few weeks ago I decided that I would keep the tradition alive and put together a list of 2014’s 10 best trails edits. This year was way tougher than last year! It really wasn’t too bad narrowing down a years worth of edits to just ten. A rainy evening, a few good beers and…
I love waking up and finding stuff like this in my inbox. Epsom is very high on the list of places that I want to visit one day. It looks like an absolute blast to ride and the crew of guys out there keeping the place rolling are legendary. 2014 may have started off a bit rough for them but they powered through and got the trails dialed back in and running as smooth as ever.
