Get your week fired up and off to a proper start with Back Bone co-owner and all around badass Tyson Jones-Peni’s section from The Back Bone Video!
Just in case this weekend’s weather has got you down, here’s a little pick-me-up courtesy of the fine folks at Back Bone!
What a pleasure it was to wake up this morning and the first thing that I see is that the crown jewel of The Backbone Video is finally online. Watch it, get stoked, tell your boss you can’t make it in today, and then go lay some tracks down somewhere!
Trail rider owned and operated, this right here is why Back Bone is fucking awesome!
All you people who didn’t get a copy of the Back Bone Video, rejoice because they’ve started putting sections from it online. The first two up are the intro (which you can check out below) and Russell Brindley’s section up above. They need to get working on another video ASAP so we can get some more Rusty footage!

Every year the crew at Back Bone throw a jam to honor Dane’s memory, and every year more and more people show up to pay their respects to a man who inspired so many. The wind…
It’s unbelievably been nearly five years since Dane Searls passed away. Back Bone has done an amazing job of keeping his memory alive by bringing people together with an annual jam to celebrate his life. Once again it will be at Hillfire Trails, and you should know by now that it will be an epic time!
Ask Back Bone Wednesday is back and the submitted question they picked to answer this week is, “Can I ride your trails?”. The trails in question are the Hillfire Trails that we’ve become quite familiar with from many a Back Bone edit and from their video. Those trails are pretty gnarly and I’m surprised that any kid wanting to ride them wouldn’t already be well aware of the rules and contributions required to do so. I do have a tendency to give kids too much credit though. Anyway, what Rhysty breaks down in this for anyone wanting to ride Hillfire…
