The flowing lines and blue grooves in this edit from the Summerhill’s Jam have been what’s helped keep the stoke high for me this week!
After seeing a few clips from the Summerhill Trails’ Jam floating around Instagram the other day, I was so hoping that a proper edit would pop up. Luckily Carl Cavanagh came through with this one that captures some of the highlights from what looked to be a pretty incredible day in the woods.
I’ve been anxiously waiting for part two of Paul Langlands’ “The Hills” project for well over a year now! For those of you who don’t remember what that is, basically Paul decided to take long distance jumping into his own hands by digging some jumps into and across some large rolling New Zealand hills. He had things pretty much all sorted out this time around so thankfully there’s not as much carnage as before. Probably because he keeps it to the 40 foot jump! Don’t worry though, Paul isn’t done with this just yet, and it sounds like there very…
Serious crashes are taken and records are set in this final episode of Dirt Dogs. I can’t even believe that Jed got up after a few of those hits! Some of the noises that come from him and his bike hitting the ground sound like he’s doing battle with ninjas.
Speaking of giant jumps, here’s the second episode of Dirt Dogs. Now that the jumps are done it’s time for Jed and Gypsy to get down to business testing them out. Why in the world someone would attempt to double flip something like this after only their third jump is beyond me!
The first episode of Jed Mildon’s “Dirt Dogs” series has arrived. Mega sketchy shipping container roll-in straight into a sixty foot first jump, this is going to get wild. Nothing too crazy in this episode as it’s more of the background and building of this thing. They do hit up Paul Langlands’ trails for a little warm up to get ready for what’s to come.
Red Bull has another series dropping soon called Dirt Dogs, where Jed Mildon (triple backflip guy) and a dude who goes by the name of Gypsy “build the biggest dirt jumps ever.” I can only imagine how out of hand this is going to get!
I usually don’t get too excited for a bunch of stunts but this shit is crazy! I can’t even imagine how someone could get up from a crash on jumps like these. Via Unit
