I was completely shocked last week when Jeremy Muller reached out to let me know about the passing Denis Darbeau, or as some of you knew him, “Mowgly.” As hard as I’ve tried to sit down and write some words about it, nothing has come out as sincere or heartfelt as what Jeremy penned to let everyone know. If you haven’t read it already, please take a minute to do so below, and also please consider making a donation HERE to help Denis’ family with the funeral expenses. Good Morning Boys, I don’t know if many of you guys had…
The annual jam at La Source is always one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year is no different, and September will see people from all around the world descending on the French countryside for two days or riding, grilling, music, craft beer and photo exhibits. Contact Jems through the email on the flyer for more info!
First it was Deluxe, now Jeremy Muller has gone and added one more new sponsor to the list. He’s now riding for French parts brand Shape Bicycles, and apparently there are already some signature products in the works. Can’t wait to see what they cook up!
It’s about time that this cat was officially let out of the bag! La Source Trails head honcho and Compression mastermind Jeremy Muller is now riding for Deluxe! I think the term “perfect fit” would be quite fitting to describe their union. I’m buzzing to see what these dudes come up with together!
Mark September 17th on your calendars because Jems just announced that as the date for the 11th annual La Source Jam! All the details you need can be found on the FB Event Page.
After nearly ten years Jeremy Muller and Simple Bike Co are parting ways. The split sounds mutual and there doesn’t seem to be any hard feelings from either party involved. To celebrate the near decade of Jems and Simple working together, John Mini went ahead put together this rad farewell edit. After watching this I can’t help but think that the world could really use more Jems footage. That dude is seriously on another level, and that last clip from Banos, wow!
Dig is killing it with trail content this week. The latest thing I’ve come across is a great article on La Source’s 10th annual jam. Mixed in amongst the write up by Dan Closser and trail facts by Jems are some amazing pictures by Vince Perraud. Check it out HERE!
So apparently all post today will be coming from France. Here’s a POV look at La Source’s Frelon Line that’s been fixed up in preparation for their jam this weekend. They may still need to do a bit of tree trimming. Spotted on Compression
One great thing about Dig going independent is that their exclusive video content has been freed from that abysmal Mpora player. This edit came out a few years ago and went along with the Catty article found in issue 85. Not only was Janis on the cover of that issue but he also filmed and edited this. Take a trip back to a Halloween at Catty in the not so distant past.
Hooray! Jem’s Soul edit is now embeddable!
