A Chris Rye produced documentary on the one and only James Menard Levan, you can add that to the growing list of things I’m looking forward to in 2018!
Only in Nasty’s yard would something like this happen! I can’t help but laugh that this video has 637,000 views. Take note kids, all you have to do to is throw some boobies into your video and you’re guaranteed that it will get ten to twenty times as many views as any other trails edit!
None other than Jimmy Levan himself showed up at Posh the last time I was time I rode there. He wasn’t riding but he was full of stories, including a few about his visit to the original Posh Trails for a legendary underground contest they held there back in 1992. Coincidentally this hour of footage from that very contest popped up online just a couple weeks later. It’s pretty crazy to see some of the stuff dudes were going for back then. The 720 attempt at 38:33 is one of my favorites in here by far! There’s also a ton…
You may have noticed that there was a slight interruption in the Yuengling supply chain a couple of weeks ago. That can all be chalked up to the invasion of dudes from the Northwest that recently paid the Northeast a visit for a week. Besides drinking ungodly amounts of PA’s finest lager, they also shredded the fuck out of some NE PA Soil. Jake Shuster threw this edit together from the adventure and he topped it off with a soundtrack with vocals from none other than Jimmy Levan!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all aren’t too hungover from all the celebrating that was going on last night. Post are going to be a little slow for the next few days because the internet where I am is pretty spotty. I’ll be back up to speed next week and you can look forward to our annual roundup of the top ten trails web edits from the last year. All that said, here’s our first flashback post of 2016, and it’s a good one if I do say so myself! This coverage of the jams at Baker’s Acres…
Go ahead and stop what you’re doing and tell who ever is around you that you can’t be disturbed for the next 40 minutes. Apparently this incredible footage from the 1991 UGP Flying Circus Dirt Contest has been floating around Indiana on a VHS tape for the last 24 years. Someone please buy Rich Hoppe a beer for getting this online so that the rest of the world can see it! This is pure gold, and if you look closely you’ll spot Brian Foster, Taj, Chris Moeller, Jimmy Levan, and a few more guys who went on to become legends….
I’m glad to see that Kyle Hirschkorn is back with another in the Life’s Hard series. It’s been a couple of years since the last one came out, but this one keeps the same tradition of featuring some kick ass riding from the NW. Jimmy F’n Levan even makes an appearance!
Judas Priest and the woods of the Northwest sure do go well together! Throw a heavy crew of Northwest legends into the mix and you’ve got my favorite edit this week!
It’s been an abnormally good day for videos and I’m happy to keep it rolling with one from the lush forest of the Northwest. I’ve never seen this spot before, but damn does it look fun!
This trailer for chapter two of Dan Schwert’s “Victims of Fun” project hit the web close to two years ago. Unfortunately I think that the project may have lost steam. I sure would have loved to have seen the finished product.
