The weather was absolutely perfect for this year’s Halloween Jam at Catty. A little rain the night before had the trails in prime condition, and unlike last year, it was warm and not a bit windy. I’m not 100% sure, but this very well may have been the biggest turnout yet!

Review: MX Trails “Trekt Op Nieks” DVD
I’d be lying if I said that I had any inclination that I’d be reviewing a trails DVD this year. With how easy it is these days to slap some footage together and throw it up on YouTube or Vimeo, I thought the days of DVDs were unfortunately behind us. Luckily our Belgium friends from the MX Trails decided not to go the easy route, and instead took the footage they’ve been gathering up for the past few years from their travels around the world and turned it into a proper full length trails DVD.

The CYDI Store has one more goodie for you today! We have a box of the MX Trails “Trekt Op Nieks” DVDs on it’s way over to us from Belgium! The video documents the MX Trails Crew’s travels around the world, and features footage from Posh, Catty, Hazelwood, Banos, and of course their own spot. You can definitely expect a full review from us as soon as we get our hands on them! Though I haven’t seen it just yet, I’ve heard nothing but good things from those who have. Flashback: A Very Belgium 2014
I’m so glad that someone suggested this for the flashback post this week because I had totally forgotten how good it was. The MX Trails crew logged some serious miles back in 2014 chasing grooves all over the world. They definitely left their mark on every spot they visited, especially Foerske spinning the shark fin at Catty. That’s still talked about to this day and probably will continue to be for years to come. MADNESS!
Emieks Crew “Trekt op nieks” DVD Teaser
Here is something to look forward to this coming summer! The Emieks Crew will be releasing an all trails DVD called “Trekt op nieks.” The first three and a half minutes of this teaser for it doesn’t give away much other than the fact that these guys put in plenty of time behind the shovel. The last two minutes though… Those do shed some light onto what we can expect from the DVD, and let’s just say that I’m very anxious to get my hands on a copy when it comes out!

A Very Belgium 2014
Well this is fucking awesome! The MX Trails crew were once again on the move hitting up trails from Europe to America and back again. I’m bummed I didn’t get to ride with them this year, but at least they broke out the camera enough to get some rad footage to look at. That crash around the five minute mark is so gnarly!

FOERSKE! Holy shit man! I heard about some of the sets he spun on this trip but seeing is believing. Absolutely fucking mad! Pretty sure he was on a mission to spin the biggest jump at every set of trails he went to!

Vinyl “LP” DVD | Ryan Popple & Friends
I love this section from Vinyl‘s “LP” DVD! It does such a good job of capturing the good times of the trails and roasting them with friends. Now if only this winter will hurry up and be over with so we can get back to those good times!
