The local crew sure did get around this year! Wish I could say the same, but oh well. Drew Ortega managed to condense almost a whole season of trails, traveling and good times from multiple states and spots down into this 16 minute edit. Considering this was kind of a shitty year weather-wise, I’m interested to see just how much more these dudes get around next season. Of course that’s assuming the weather cooperates a bit more.
Always stoked when one of our local dudes puts together an edit! I haven’t gotten to ride with Drew as much as I’d like to, but he’s absolutely killing it every time I do!
We all win when Jon Lynn stumbles across some long forgotten about clips that he and Thad Allender filmed during a Keyko session back in 2015!
That photo above hits real close to home for me. Back in the day I had a set of forks break in that exact same way. I got incredibly lucky and somehow managed to come out relatively unscathed. My shirt tore completely off but other than that the only damage was a little scrape on my chest. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for my old buddy Shawn Real. When his forks broke at Keyko he had no time to even get his hands out to break the fall. As a result he was left barely conscious and with four…
Cory Nastazio and Tyler Trueman picked the absolute best time of year to pay the East Coast a visit for a trails trip. With the exception of a couple rainy days, the weather couldn’t have been any more perfect and the trails couldn’t have been any more dialed. Now that they’ve gotten a good taste of some Northeast soil, let’s hope that they make an annual tradition out of this trip!
Lots of Long Island trails goodness in this promo for Nick Razzano’s Loose Change video! The video will be out around the New Year, and he plans on filming for it until the “frost hits.” Can’t wait to see it!
Jon Lynn sent through this quick slowmo video that he put together of Pauly Cvikevich styling through Keyko. I can honestly say that I actually don’t mind this slowmo vid; I’d even go as far as to say I like it!
Keith Terra has a piece up on DIG discussing whether or not a broken planet (pertaining to the seasons) makes for better trails. Without jacking their piece and going off on my own tangent about it, I’ll register my two cents with a simple “No.” Head on over to DIG for Terra’s take on the subject, as well as some damn fine pictures from a mid-December session at Keyko.
If the riding in this Black Friday Keyko edit doesn’t put a smile on your face, Jon Lynn’s soundtrack sure as hell will!
There were so many wild things in this Shawn Real edit that have been bouncing around my head ever since it dropped. He nollied the DMC at Boondocks! As ridiculous as that is, he also 270’d it. Then there’s that case in the beginning so big that Salty Pistachio felt it. I’m still getting chuckles out of that one every time I think about it.
