Want to know what ignited Kye Forte’s passion for putting two wheels in the dirt? Well, Red Bull has got you covered with this piece if you do. Kye talks about everything from the early days of watching his dad ride motorcycles, to his love for trails, motocross, and downhill. They even managed to scrounge up some old video and photos from when he was just a little pup. I’m also pretty sure that he’s riding his 20″/22″ bastard setup in some of the footage in here!
Take a closer look at that picture. Notice anything weird? Kye Forte posted this picture of his current setup on Instagram, and it’s a combination that I don’t think anyone else has thought to try yet. For the last few months he’s been running his United with a 22″ fork and wheel up front and a 20″ wheel in the back. According to him “It works so well & is amazing for dirt & bigger skateparks.” Who’s down to give this very motocross-esque setup a try?!
I love waking up and finding stuff like this in my inbox. Epsom is very high on the list of places that I want to visit one day. It looks like an absolute blast to ride and the crew of guys out there keeping the place rolling are legendary. 2014 may have started off a bit rough for them but they powered through and got the trails dialed back in and running as smooth as ever.
United just dropped this POV from one of Kye Forte’s Quarter Master runs. Just listen to the sound of the air rushing by as he’s going down the roll-in! Fucking nuts!
Never in a million years did I ever think that I’d be watching a trails edit with a Salt-N-Pepa soundtrack! I’m not going to bullshit you, I got instantly hyped up as soon as I heard that first “heeeeyyyyyy, yeah.” To tell you the truth, the song worked perfectly with the vibe of this year’s Decoy Jam. Nothing but good times and smiles out there!
So pretty much each new episode of Raditudes becomes my new favorite. This one certainly has and with good reason. The first half of it is all trails and Hucker getting loose with his drone. By loose I mean flying it directly into Navaz’s face! The second half catches up with Anthony at the Goodwood Festival in the UK. It’s contest footage but it’s super low key and Doyle and Kye Forte are all up in there.
Hope you didn’t sleep on this little gem that United dropped on us earlier this week!
The world seriously needs more Kye Forte footage! Luckily for us United decided to deliver us this beautiful gift of a minute long video of him ripping Decoy.
Just realized I forgot yesterday’s flashback post! Here’s a good one to make up for my absent mindedness!
Robbie Meade put together this edit from the Murray Jam that took place at the Decoy Bowl and Trails. I’m sure the bowl stuff was good and all but I skipped through it and started watching at 01:37 when the trails part began. There are some really cool shots throughout the whole edit but the one of the whip at 02:56 is a thing of pure beauty!
