Taking it back four years to this promo that DMR Bikes did for their trails influenced Sect product line. I’ve always had a ton of respect for DMR sponsoring and working with real trails dudes on that line. It definitely shows in the products, and this promo, though it only has one riding clip, is one of the best product promo videos I’ve seen.
Sven Grieten bringing us some Monday stoke with this edit from his UK trails trip!
I’d be lying if I said that I had any inclination that I’d be reviewing a trails DVD this year. With how easy it is these days to slap some footage together and throw it up on YouTube or Vimeo, I thought the days of DVDs were unfortunately behind us. Luckily our Belgium friends from the MX Trails decided not to go the easy route, and instead took the footage they’ve been gathering up for the past few years from their travels around the world and turned it into a proper full length trails DVD.
We’re headed off to Jersey to check out the supercross race so I’m leaving you with Elliot Woodhouse’s 30 minute UK trails masterpiece for the day. Give it another watch and then go build something rad this weekend!
Do yourself a favor and round up some friends, grab some beers and then figure out a way to watch this on your tv, because this 30 minute UK trails edit from Elliot Woodhouse deserves to be watched on the big screen and in good company! This is seriously like a who’s who and where’s where of UK trails awesomeness!
Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and got a lot done on yesterday’s “day of service.” My contribution to society was digging out a filthy clay pit and moving its contents to a much nicer location. Now that we’re back to the regular grind, I’m psyched to get the site rolling this week with some rad footage from Wisley, Blackwoods, Epsom and Leatherhead. One of these days I’m going to follow these guy’s lead and set off on a UK trails trip of my own!
So I came across another episode of Red Bull’s Sound of Speed this morning and got to wondering what some of the other ones I missed looked like. A quick glance through some of the past episodes and I instantly recognized one of the thumbnails as being from Leatherhead. It took a little skipping through the freeride stuff to get to the 01:32 mark, but sure enough there was a solid minute of Olly boosting and transferring the absolute living fuck out of Leatherhead! No music, no crazy effects; just the sweet sound of the woods being shredded.
This edit from Wars of Flow’s trails trip through the South of England was just one of the videos that made this week a particularly good one for trails edits!
Well this isn’t a bad way to start off the day! Our friends over at Wars of Flow went on a week long trails trip through the South of England hitting spots like Leatherhead, Brockham, Wisley and Hills & Mountains. Don’t worry, I’m jealous too! While I certainly hope to one day put some tracks down at those spots, for now living it through this edit they came back with will have to suffice.
You are definitely blowing it if you missed Remy Morton’s United Kingdom edit the first go around! Here’s your chance to either make amends for missing it, or watch it again if you did already see it.
