You’re going to be seeing a lot from this past weekend’s TRA Double Cross event. I’ve been to literally a shit ton of BMX events in my lifetime and I can honestly say that this was one of the best ones ever. I’ve been on the road since Double Cross but once I get settled in down here in Asheville I’ll hit you with my own little write up on the event. For now though here’s a run through the course with Deluxe‘s Mark Potoczny and Jeremy Ball.
I’m trying to decide what’s funnier, Mark going for a swim or the itsy bitsy little baby bars he is running in his old Props bio.
Deluxe went and gave us a little Labor Day gift by putting all the Woodlanders edits together into one eleven and a half minute super edit. The wild ass flip that Mike Saavedra does in here still gets brought up by at least once a week by someone during conversations.
The floodgates on Peynier footage are about to burst open so why not get things flowing a little early with this POV clip that Mark Potoczny dug up of a run through an old line at Peynier.
Ah, the roller coaster that is Hazelwood! Protoz shot these POV runs last summer, so you know that things are even nutty now. Hold on as he follows Popple, Tom, and Yeagle through three of the runs.
For some reason I’ve gotten into the habit of doing most of my new jump testing solo. It makes things a bit nerve-racking, but as stressful as it is, I’m sure it’s nothing compared to testing new stuff out at H-Wood. Rock-paper-scissors is definitely the way to go as far as determining who gets to be the guinea pig. Protoz got the honors of testing out the new Dykye Out jump first, but Tom and Popple weren’t far behind. Via Vinyl
We get one last little piece of Deluxe’s “Woodlanders” in the form of the credits.
It seems quite fitting to re-up this since today is the Catty Jam.
