Matt Cordova teamed up with photographer Joey Cobbs on a pretty out of the box nighttime photo shoot at the FOD Trails. It was complete with fog machines, colored lights, and Matt even did his best Keith Gower impression by rocking a headlamp. The photos turned out pretty amazing! You can check them out along with a quick interview and bike check on Matt’s ride over on Demolition’s site.
Ride has been pumping out the jumping trick how-tos lately. This newest one has Matt Cordova showing you how to do a nac nac seatgrab. I always think of Mike Aitken when I think of this trick but Matt’s are right up there with his.
Man, I was hoping this summer Demolition edit from Matt Cordova was going to be at least half trails, but unfortunately we only get a couple of nibbles at 01:58 and 02:19.
I’m psyched to see that the Ride boys switched things up and headed out to Wetlands to film this edit. Lots of heavy hitters in here, but I think the star is the epic (and I try not to use that word) dirt spine they have going on out there. Christ man! I’ve seen a few attempts at dirt spines over the years but never one that actually worked as well as the one in here.
Just spotted this Brian Castillo shot FOD gallery over on the Demolition site and had to post up my favorite picture from it. The D-Man has some of the finest no-footed cans in the game, and damn did this hip at FOD let him stretch out the ol’ legs! Bust on over to the Demolition site and check out a couple more Doyle pics, as well as some from Kris Fox and Matt Cordova.
I couldn’t not re-up this one from Ride that features the Cordova Brothers, Larry Edgar, and Nathan Sykes flowing their home turf.
Oh shit! The Ride dudes left the comfort of the office and the familiarity of the streets and made it up to FOD to shoot a session. Steezy C and Nathan Sykes didn’t get any love in their title, but I held them down in mine. That kickout look back thing that Larry did definitely had me feeling some kind of way, and I hope to never feel that way again. Matt Cordova’s nac nac, on the other hand, was spectacular!
I wish I could tell you that Nathan Sykes and Matt Cordova’s split edit for 100% was comprised of more than 9.148% trails footage. Unfortunately I can’t do that, but on the positive side of things I can tell you that it’s a damn good 29 seconds of trails footage. Skip to 04:07 to get to it.
Crooked World caught up with Steezus and Matt Cordova for a little session at F.O.D. I have no idea what the music choice was about. At first I thought maybe they were going for a Halloween thing, but I was more so expecting a shark or possibly a sharknado to pop up at any minute.
This very well may be my favorite episode of Raditudes yet. The F.O.D. Trails section that Navaz put together for it is absolutely amazing. I love the East Coast but this definitely has me missing those Cali sunset sessions. The episode starts off with Anthony at that crazy SMP Park in China and Hucker skydiving but you can jump to 04:21 to get straight to the good stuff.
