I was hoping there would be an edit from this year’s Bangers & Mash since I missed the livecast. Not only is there an edit, but there’s a Dylan Pfohl edit! It looks like this years jam was a damn good time for everyone who made it out. How could it not be with Rick Thorne’s band playing? I do have a question though. Pat Casey knows that Fox shirt that he wears all the time is a dress, right?
I literally said the same thing that Brian Castillo did the first time he saw this pic they used for Volume’s Vessel frame ad. “Holy shit!, he’s backwards!”
Looks like 100% is jumping into the BMX world with their new line of gloves, and they picked up Matt Cordova to rep for them. Matt rips the F.O.D. trails at the beginning of his welcome edit, and it appears that the gloves were successful in keeping his hands attached to the grips. Except of course when he purposefully took them off. Seriously though, the gloves look pretty dialed. I don’t really wear gloves anymore except to dig in, but I’d give these a go if I did.
The Markit guys have been bitten by the trail bug and have been getting steezy over at the F.O.D. trails lately. They even shot some photos that you can check out over on the Markit site.
Matt unleashes a new one in here that I’ve never seen. A one handed whip! Not a one handed tailwhip, a one handed steez that whip. It’s rad looking but definitely seems like it has a high disaster potential. Anyway, this is his promo for his signature “Unsinkable” collection from Index Ink. They also have a contest going where you can win some gear by following @IndexInk and @Matt_Cordova on Instagram and hashtaging #Indexinkunsinkable with your best nautical themed photos.
Freshen up that background with this new Matt Cordova wallpaper from Volume. Grab it HERE
You know, we don’t see enough from Matt Cordova. I’m a big fan of his riding, which is why I’m posting this promo for Volume’s Infantry complete bike. It features a bunch of people from the Volume team riding the same stock complete bike that kids can buy. It’s mostly street riding but Matt takes it to the trails starting at 01:06. It’s less than twenty seconds of trails footage but it’s good!
Holy shit a double pendulum! Matt came out kickin’ for his Welcome to Index Ink edit. Jump ahead to 01:46 if you want to skip the skatepark stuff and get right to the trails. Once again, holy shit a double pendulum!
Matt Cordova does his best Matt Macik impression for Volume‘s latest Pic of the Day.
The SoCal trails scene is looking pretty good these days! I’m always impressed when people manage to get stuff built out there given the less than ideal soil and lack of rain. Joey and Matt Cordova cruise through a few different spots in their new edit for Sullen.
