My apologies for the delay! Maybe one day I’ll finally realize that I need to start the whole process of picking these out well before the end of the year rolls around. I thought I’d be able to hammer it out right at the beginning of January, but between traveling and being busy with a bunch of other stuff, I never had the time to fully devote to sitting down and giving this the attention it deserves. So, here we are, damn near the end of February and we’re just now taking a look back on what I thought were the top 10 trails web edits of 2016. Feel free to agree, disagree or be ambivalent!
There’s a community dig day going down at the 9th Street Trails this coming Sunday, (1/29). If you’re going to be anywhere near Austin this weekend, please consider being there to help throw some shovels and get the place dialed in. News and James Stevens’ pic of Roey lifted from our friends at Mutiny. Hit the jump for the flyer with all the info!
If you watch one thing today make sure it’s this! Any footage that comes from Villij is guaranteed to be a treat, and this edit that Tom Cambridge produced for Mutiny and DIG is no different. With not only Robbo in it, but Matt Roe and Dylan Lewis as well, it’s without a doubt my favorite Villij edit to date!
The wait is almost over! In just two short weeks Pumped BMX 3 will be available for both iOS and Android! It’s almost certain that there will be a worldwide drop in productivity immediately following the release. Better get everything you need to get done before September 29th rolls around!
Start getting excited now because Pumped BMX 3 will be available this summer! As you probably figured out from that image above, this time you’ll have quite the cast of characters to play with! There’s no exact release date just yet, but they are promising more news on it and all the new game features in the coming weeks. If you haven’t figured out just who’s who in the image above, you can check out closeups of each rider after the jump. They look awesome!!!!
I wanted to dig up a real gem for this week’s flashback, and I think this five minute Villij section from Robbo’s 2011 “Who Knows” video more than qualifies!
Exotic cars and dirt jumping aren’t two things that I would think go together, but the Goodwood Festival of Speed somehow manages to successfully combine the two into one weekend of awesomeness. Ride UK put together this quick edit of some of the action going down on the dirt course; which I have to say looks pretty damn fun.
Flybikes‘ videos are always good but I slacked on watching this one when it came out. I finally got around to it this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that those trails next to the track on Malta made it into the edit. Sit back and enjoy the beauty that is Roey, Sergio, and Stefan flowing some jumps. It kicks off right after the intro.
