Ride BMX posted a bike check on Matty Aquizap’s whip, which of course features the final prototype of his upcoming signature Credence “Black Magic” frame. I know a lot of you are excited about that one, so head over there and check it out up close, along with the run down of what parts he has it built up with. Peep it HERE
It’s always a good day when some fresh footy from Eastside surfaces! This raw edit comes from the clips John Donald filmed with his phone while he and the NW crew were down there this past February.
Moeller posted up another tantalizing look at the prototype of Matty Aquizap’s upcoming signature Credence Black Magic Frame. It’s come back white from powder coat and apparently Matty will be adding his own special touch to the finish when he gets his hands on it. He also dropped another little piece of info about the build/geometry. The Black Magic will use a 5″ head tube as opposed to the standard 4.5″ to help eliminate the need to use headset spacers. Smart and clean!
I can think of very few people more deserving of a signature frame than Matty Aquizap. The Credence M.O.D. frame is what he’s been blasting on ever since the whole S&M/Credence deal came to be a few years ago, but it looks like they’re giving him his very own signature model! The Black Magic is what it’s being called and he posted this picture of one of the final prototypes on Instagram earlier today. No details on the release date or specs just yet, but it seems to follow in the footsteps of the M.O.D. frame in that it looks…
Some fresh Eastside footage coming courtesy of the heavy NW crew that’s been down there visiting for the past week. I don’t even have words for that last clip of Matty going into the stratosphere off of the Speedball hip…
This edit that Brian Barnhart put together of Clint and Matty ripping Speedball randomly popped into my head when I was digging today. I’m not sure what exactly it was that sparked the memory, but I’m glad it did so that I’d be forced to rewatch it when I got home. Coincidentally it’s Friday and I hadn’t yet picked out a video for a flashback post. Funny how that worked out!
A fitting flashback seeing as I’m about to hit the road for a quick day trip to Posh!
Take a load off by giving this Solstice edit another much deserved second watch!
One thing that always stresses me out when planning, or more importantly booking tickets for trips far in advance is whether or not the weather is going to cooperate when the trip comes around. I’ve managed to have been pretty lucky with that so far, but unfortunately luck wasn’t on this guy’s side. Of the fourteen days he had in Austin, it rained nine of them. Definitely a bummer but he kept it positive and is hoping for better weather when he visits this year. At least he did get a little Eastside session in on that last trip! Spotted…
Everyone owes Dan Closser his choice of either a high five or a beer since he was kind enough to take this older Solstice footage and reimagine it into a whole new edit!
