I don’t think there’s a single person who visits this site that will argue with the fact that Deluxe won the internet this week. I’ve always been really stoked on what the brand is about, and I’m glad to see the ethos that Mark Noble created still lives on in Deluxe’s current ownership. For this week’s flashback I wanted to revisit the early days of the brand, more specifically their first full length video release, 2010’s “Welcome to Deluxe”!
Sem sent this one through of him roasting the Boss Trails. Noteworthy is the fact that fellow Deluxe teammate Max Bimar did the track for it.
It’s been forever since we’ve seen anything from Max Bimar! I don’t know where he’s been but I’m glad he’s back with this POV edit from a recent trip to La Source.
Well it’s a wrap! Here’s the last section from Deluxe’s “Part Deux.” What’s more perfect than ending it off with a pre-trails river session followed by a solid day at the Flaynac Trails. Tuesdays just aren’t going to be the same!
Maybe it’s because it’s been awhile since I’ve seen Deluxe’s “Part Deux” but I totally forgot how many awesome French spots they hit up. The latest section from the video to be release is the part from La Source, and it’s a good one. I don’t know what it is about La Source but whenever I see stuff from there it always has really cool vibe to it.
It’s Tuesday, so that means it’s time for another section from Deluxe’s “Part Deux.” Pinard was the second stop on their French trip, and judging by this section it looks to have been one hell of a worthwhile stop!
It’s Tuesday, and that means it’s time for another section from Deluxe’s “Part Deux.” Up this week is their visit to France’s legendary Penier Trails. A storm ripped through and flooded the place right before they go there, so they had to put in some serious work to get the place running.
From the moment I saw the first trailer for Compression’s “Septembre” DVD I knew something special was in the works. This may shock, amaze, or just plain disgust you, but I’m not really that into full length trails videos. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some awesome ones that have come out, but there’s also been quite a few that have turned out to be pretty boring and repetitive. I’m really happy that “Septembre” ended up being in the awesome category.
The new Compression “Septembre” DVD has finally made it’s way across the Atlantic and is now available exclusively in the US through the CYDI Store. I’m not trying to get all used car salesman on you, but you NEED this DVD! Imagine 35 minutes of twenty of the best trail riders in the world riding some of the best trails France has to offer. That’s what “Septembre” is, plus another whole hour of bonus footage! We’ll be dropping a full review along with another trailer later this week, but for now just take my word for it that this DVD…
Max Bimar shot this quick edit of Christine hitting the “Pills” line at Peynier. Max Junior makes a cameo as well!
