Part two of the Berlin Dirt series just reinforces how strong the trails scene is around Berlin! Up on deck in this episode are the Wildau Trails, some fun at Mellowpark and then a heated session at a spot known as The Backyard.
Our friend Hans Friedrich put together a photo gallery from the annual Highway to Hill Jam at Mellowpark that you should most definitely peep over on 20 ZOLL!
The DRC are the guys who keep the trails at Mellowpark up and running. Every year they come together to celebrate their work with a jam at the place they’ve been keeping going since 2001. Hans Friedrich captured the action from this years jam, and I have to say that the trails look extra dialed this season.
We were just talking about trails in Germany yesterday and today this pops up. The crew from the EGB Trails hit the road for some good times at the Wildau Trails and the trails at Mellowpark in Berlin.
The third and final part of the DRK Trail Trip is a good one! They saved the best for last, ending it off at the always amazing looking trails in Plauen.
The fun continues as the DRK Trails Trip rolls into Flöha, Germany. I’m starting to notice that most German trails are out in the open. Wonder why that is? Check out Part 1 of the DRK Trip HERE if you missed it.
The digging crew from Mellowpark put their shovels down and headed out on the road for a trails trip around Germany. Luckily for us they documented the whole thing and put it together into three edits. Here’s the first part that features trails from Leipzig and Mittweida. Look for the second and third parts to be dropping later this week. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!
Hans Friedrich sent through these photos that he shot of the trails and crew at Mellowpark, and there’s no way I could resist putting them together into a gallery for everyone to see! Hit the jump button to check out the gallery, and make sure you put that sucker in fullscreen!
The old Red Bull R.Evolution track is now Mellowpark’s new supercross track. Luis Brethauer cranks out some laps for the camera to show you what more BMX tracks need to look like. I’d love to ride this thing, but I highly doubt I could generate enough speed to clear some of the stuff on it. It almost looked like Luis was struggling at times.
Here’s another one that came out before CYDI was around but would have definitely been on here had the site existed back then!
