Back Bone’s 2011 Trailmix is one of my favorite trails edits of all time and just what I needed to rewatch to help boost the ol’ spirits during this cold snap we currently have going on here in the North East!
A fitting flashback seeing as I’m about to hit the road for a quick day trip to Posh!
Jacob Dyke joined me last week for a much needed trip to Posh to knock the cobwebs off from a season of not being able to ride much. He brought along a borrowed Sony RX100 IV and holy shit was the footage that little thing shot amazing. Here’s a little sampling of it that he spun together into a quick edit.
Here’s another route you can take through the new warm up line at Posh.
I think it’s pretty rad that the Posh Crew took the time to put in a warm up line. Not only is it something stress free to get the blood flowing after you’ve been in the car for hours, but it also gives newbs something to start out on. With any luck they may just grow into full on shovel wielding trail riders.
I seriously regret not making it to Posh this year.
Part 2 of The Black Magic Sessions is my favorite out of the three. Don’t get me wrong, part 1 and 3 were also great, but part 2 just does it for me. I think it’s because a majority of the footage is from the end of the season and the feeling of how precious those sessions are really comes across in it.
Since I’m going to be in the woods most of the day I’m going to leave you with one of the most awesome things to hit the web this year. Watch it, get psyched, and go get your ride or dig on! Don’t forget that you can still pick up some Back Bone goods in the STORE!
Words can’t even express how awesome this Back Bone team edit is! Raine Turnbull finally got around to editing this together from the 2011 trail footage he had. Most of it’s from Posh with a few clips from Catty and some Aussie trails mixed in. There’s a stacked list of riders in here but for some reason I kept expecting Brian Castillo to pop up at some point
There’s been a good bit of Posh edits over the last couple of weeks but these are the ones I’m most excited about. I’ve been hearing for a while that Jaybone was working on some edits of his own and here they are. These three edits were filmed during the 2012 season and are Jay’s first cracks at both filming and editing. I think you’ll agree that he did a pretty damn good job! After you get done watching part 1 above check out part 2 and part 3 after the jump. Also please consider making a donation to help…
