Ten minutes of East Coast trail riding at its finest!
WOW! I’ve always been a fan of Sam Havranek’s KingstonBeMX edits but he really outdid himself with this one! A full 10 minutes of East Coast trail riding that even includes a bit of new Minersville footage! Too good!
I’ve only had the chance to ride with Scot a handful of times, but he’s definitely one of my favorite people to take some laps with. Here’s a flashback to around 2005 or so that has a good bit of Minersville footage in it.
Flo Jos, Johnnys, Rollers, Up and At ‘Em, Thunder, Lightening, Hips, Bunker, Ladies, Subba Bubba, if any of those names mean something to you then you’re going to love what we have for you today. The amount of good times had at Minersville is absolutely immeasurable. I still remember being completely blown away the first time that I ever went there. I had been to Posh, Nam, Push, and countless other trails at the time, but there was just something different about that place. Over the next few years I headed North every chance I got to spend time riding…
When I spotted this on Veloup a few days ago I almost couldn’t wait until Friday to post it. Craig was one of my favorite dudes to ride with and watch ride back in the day. I don’t think there is a single person who wouldn’t agree that Craig along with Shawn Shoener owned Minersville! Seeing Craig’s old part from Transylvania brought back a ton of good memories of hanging out and riding with those dudes. Now I just have to find some footage of Shawn!
I’m posting this solely for the first clip of the Deece Man spinning his way through Minersville. Via Shitluck
Ok, the video quality blows but there’s some damn fine riding in here. For those of you who don’t know, Formatiks was Brandan “Punjab” Pundai’s company back in the early to mid 2000’s. This was a promo for a video that was supposed to come out. As far as I know it never did so this is all that we are left with. Thanks to Tom for putting me onto this one!
Hell yeah classic Catty, Minersville, and Posh footage! Damn I miss Minersville! Sorry, that’s not the first time you’ve heard me say that and it’s far from the last. So many good times at that place. I’m just beyond grateful that two of those three places are still running strong. Support the woods!
I’m feeling this edit from the jam that Nightfall Bike Co threw at the K-Bar trails. Good riding, good times, a few hilarious crashes, and a step up into a berm landing that looks mad fun! Minersville had this berm landing that I still can’t get out of my head. The way that thing sucked you into the berm felt awesome. Plus you had to juice around it cause the set after was kind of long. I really need to get on building one of those at some point!
