The MX Trails DVD left me wanting to go back and find some earlier footage of their spot to see how it’s progressed over the last few years. A little digging and I was able to dig up Sven Grieten’s 2011 Deluxe/Vans edit that was 100% filmed at MX. Now I’m left wondering what Sven is up to these days?
I’d be lying if I said that I had any inclination that I’d be reviewing a trails DVD this year. With how easy it is these days to slap some footage together and throw it up on YouTube or Vimeo, I thought the days of DVDs were unfortunately behind us. Luckily our Belgium friends from the MX Trails decided not to go the easy route, and instead took the footage they’ve been gathering up for the past few years from their travels around the world and turned it into a proper full length trails DVD.
The CYDI Store has one more goodie for you today! We have a box of the MX Trails “Trekt Op Nieks” DVDs on it’s way over to us from Belgium! The video documents the MX Trails Crew’s travels around the world, and features footage from Posh, Catty, Hazelwood, Banos, and of course their own spot. You can definitely expect a full review from us as soon as we get our hands on them! Though I haven’t seen it just yet, I’ve heard nothing but good things from those who have. I can’t wait to see all the crazy shit that…
I’m so glad that someone suggested this for the flashback post this week because I had totally forgotten how good it was. The MX Trails crew logged some serious miles back in 2014 chasing grooves all over the world. They definitely left their mark on every spot they visited, especially Foerske spinning the shark fin at Catty. That’s still talked about to this day and probably will continue to be for years to come. MADNESS!
The guys from Went BMX must have been feeling nostalgic about the summer they had riding some of the most iconic trails around Europe back in 2014, because they decided to have a look back at footage and mash it up into this new edit!
I got to looking through Sem’s Youtube page after watching that video from Villij yesterday and came across this one from the MX Trails. I’ve seen plenty of video from MX before but this POV makes them look real wild!
This edit from Belgium’s MX Trails Crew definitely deserves a bump back up to the top!
Well this is fucking awesome! The MX Trails crew were once again on the move hitting up trails from Europe to America and back again. I’m bummed I didn’t get to ride with them this year, but at least they broke out the camera enough to get some rad footage to look at. That crash around the five minute mark is so gnarly!
Kamil Snail has spent the past couple of years living life and enjoying his travels to trails all throughout Europe. Here are his journeys all condensed down into one ten minute edit full of lines from Burck, Banos, MX, Sturmbahn, and the Voltage Trails. Spotted on Checktrails
More POV goodness from Dimitris Araouzos! This time featuring runs from this year and last year through some amazing lines at MX, La Source, Ermite, Banos, Urkatu, and more. Keep em coming Dimitris!
