Nathan Sykes’ new Colony edit has been out for a couple days now but I just finally had time to give it a watch. 02:19 and 03:16 are where you’ll find the trails parts of it. Sure would be rad if this guy made it out to the East Coast sometime!
Even though we now live in a world of crystal clear 4k footage, grainy Super8 footage will always hold a special place in my heart. Matt Cordova broke out his 1978 Bell and Howell Super8 camera to capture session down at the FOD trails and this resulting edit is pure nostalgic magic!
My apologies for the delay! Maybe one day I’ll finally realize that I need to start the whole process of picking these out well before the end of the year rolls around. I thought I’d be able to hammer it out right at the beginning of January, but between traveling and being busy with a bunch of other stuff, I never had the time to fully devote to sitting down and giving this the attention it deserves. So, here we are, damn near the end of February and we’re just now taking a look back on what I thought were…
I’m playing a bit of catch up with these Hangin with Lavs today! Before it’s Nathan’s turn to get grilled by TJ, they along with Anthony Napolitan give Nasty some shit over the phone about his ridiculously oversized wallet that he somehow forgot in Vegas. I really wish they had picked the thing apart to figure out what all that crap was in there. How many store loyalty cards can one person have!?
Nathan Sykes rips around F.O.D. to promote his signature seat from Colony. The seat is a little fat for my taste, but I do dig the old school motorcycle influenced details!
Sprinkle a little bit of bike info over some quality riding footage; Colony has really cracked the code on how to make bike checks interesting. This latest one gives you the rundown on Nathan Sykes’ rig all while he roast the F.O.D. Trails.
Those are three names that definitely grab your attention when you see them in a video title! 100% wanted to showcase their new gloves in the most stylish way possible, so they slapped them on the hands of Matt Cordova, Nathan Sykes and Larry Edgar, and let them loose on F.O.D. and Pinter’s Trails. Now the question I have is if those things can hold up to digging or the palm saturating humidity we’ve been dealing with here on the East Coast?
Matt Cordova and Nathan Sykes bring a good mix of style and tricks to F.O.D., Bundy and Wetlands in this latest edit in DIG’s “DIG Trails” series. It’s always a treat watching these guys roast their local spots but I can’t help but want to see what they would bring to some East Coast trails.
Follow Colony’s Nathan Sykes and Victor Salazar as they take a little day trip to ride the Stay Strong Compound (R.I.P.) and the Hoodrich Trails. These dudes have pretty contrasting styles, but Cooper Brownlee was able to come up with a pretty solid edit and some rad photos from the day. Make sure you check out those photos HERE after you get done watching the vid!
Hopefully Stay Strong was somehow able to engineer Larry Edgar’s super human ability to go higher than anyone else into his new signature bars! That and maybe the ability to do those wild inverted 360 tables. Watch this promo that Nathan Sykes shot of Larry putting his new bars to work at the California hot spot that is the F.O.D. Trails, and then check out the specs and some pictures of them after the jump.
