Ladies, mark the last day of September and first day of October down on your calendars because Catty and Posh have joined forces to host Women’s Weekend In The Woods. I was stoked on how many ladies were shredding at Catty’s 4th of July Jam! I can’t wait to see how many more an official women’s jam brings out!
Get your week fired up and off to a proper start with Back Bone co-owner and all around badass Tyson Jones-Peni’s section from The Back Bone Video!
Just in case this weekend’s weather has got you down, here’s a little pick-me-up courtesy of the fine folks at Back Bone!
What a pleasure it was to wake up this morning and the first thing that I see is that the crown jewel of The Backbone Video is finally online. Watch it, get stoked, tell your boss you can’t make it in today, and then go lay some tracks down somewhere!
Trail rider owned and operated, this right here is why Back Bone is fucking awesome!
I’d be lying if I said that I had any inclination that I’d be reviewing a trails DVD this year. With how easy it is these days to slap some footage together and throw it up on YouTube or Vimeo, I thought the days of DVDs were unfortunately behind us. Luckily our Belgium friends from the MX Trails decided not to go the easy route, and instead took the footage they’ve been gathering up for the past few years from their travels around the world and turned it into a proper full length trails DVD.
The Lehigh Valley Independence Day festivities are getting started off early this year with a jam at Posh on Sunday, July 2nd!
I’m so glad that someone suggested this for the flashback post this week because I had totally forgotten how good it was. The MX Trails crew logged some serious miles back in 2014 chasing grooves all over the world. They definitely left their mark on every spot they visited, especially Foerske spinning the shark fin at Catty. That’s still talked about to this day and probably will continue to be for years to come. MADNESS!
All you people who didn’t get a copy of the Back Bone Video, rejoice because they’ve started putting sections from it online. The first two up are the intro (which you can check out below) and Russell Brindley’s section up above. They need to get working on another video ASAP so we can get some more Rusty footage!
Sorry it’s been a few weeks since the last flashback post. For some reason Fridays have been especially crazy for me lately. I’m back on it though with Bicycle Union’s PA Woods edit from 2013!
