I can’t believe it’s already been over a year since the last and possibly final Red Bull Dreamline went down. I thought that I had already seen every single last bit of media related to the event, but I was wrong. Somehow this absolutely amazing virtual tour from 100 Digital Creativity slipped through the cracks. Not only can you tag along with Tyler Trueman as he follows Dawid Godziek down the hill, but you can do it in 3D (if you just so happen to have some 3D glasses laying around). There’s also a slideshow that features some gorgeous 360 degree photos of the action. Make sure you grab on them to look at the entire scene. I definitely suggest you take a few minutes to explore the whole thing! Get into it HERE!
Name: Anthony Napolitan
Age: 28, going on 29 in a month.
Local Trails: Wetlands
Just getting right into it, what happened with Red Bull?
To be honest I can’t even give you guys a good answer because Red Bull still hasn’t been clear with me about why our agreement ended. Back in September I arranged a meeting with them because my 3 year deal was up in 2015. So I just wanted to get the ball rolling with all of that knowing that it takes time to get a new deal lined up and ready to sign before the calendar year starts. So it was their decision.
Anthony Napolitan announced via Instagram that he won’t be riding for Red Bull in 2015. BFD right!? Well, maybe it is kind of a big deal when you think about it in regards to Dreamline being Anthony’s brainchild. His departure puts a serious question mark on whether or not Dreamline will live on. Who knows, maybe they’ll make Hucker the new face of it.
You’re in luck if you missed NBC’s TV broadcast of Dreamline a couple of weeks ago cause now it’s online. I like how Sal Masekela narrates the thing from 9th Street.
The idea behind Trail to Dreamline was to gather up dudes from different trails around the country and send them on a road trip hitting various sets of trails along the way to Dreamline. Originally there were supposed to be three trips. One originating from Texas, one from Florida, and one from the Northeast. Due to people’s work schedules two of the trips didn’t happen but the one from Texas more than made up for it. They seriously had close to thirty people on the trip and trails were roasted from Texas all the way to North Carolina. Samantha Hanus was on the trip with them and she did one hell of a job capturing it in this edit.
Gentlemen, set your DVRs!
iON‘s a little late to the party with this Dreamline ride along with Corey Bohan.
Not sure who the hell picked these cause I only agree with one of them in there. You’re seriously going to tell me that Nyquist’s alley-oop truck out of the shark fin didn’t make it into the top 5? Or what about Dennis Enarson 450ing the damn thing? I can without a doubt say that the person who made this list definitely had a mama who was on the crack rock before she had them.
I’m a little late to the party posting this one, but better late than never. I’m assuming this is the final Dreamline edit that Red Bull is going to put out until the big Signature Series show airs on NBC on November 8th. Go ahead and set your DVRs now so you don’t forget!
Not sure who at Red Bull chose the music for this one but I approve!
