I didn’t think Ride was going to be able to top their Feeble Talk with Cory Nastazio, but I think this one with Hucker just may have done it. So many good stories in here and they even had the Soil video rolling in the background of part of it.
Looks like Ride hasn’t quite forgotten about us lowly trail riders after all, as they just put up a bike check on Brian Foster’s chromed out stead. That thing looks damn good but we may need to get a petition going to get a bigger sprocket up on there! You can peep Brian’s current ride and get the full parts rundown right HERE.
Looks like we’re going to need to remind Ride that us lowly trails riders still exist. Seeing as the last print issue was completely devoid of any trails or dirt content, I’m not really surprised that they didn’t feel the need to put one of our kind on the list of suggested riders for the readers choice award. Tisk, tisk, tisk… Clint has got my vote, you can write in yours HERE.
Ride has been pumping out the jumping trick how-tos lately. This newest one has Matt Cordova showing you how to do a nac nac seatgrab. I always think of Mike Aitken when I think of this trick but Matt’s are right up there with his.
Well, they actually call these kick out seat grabs in this how-to from Ride but I’m definitely not having any of that. I’ve got nothing but love for Mark but I’m sorry, you are a communist if you call these anything other than a Ground Chuck.
So I guess there’s a Mongoose Jam currently going on at Woodward West. I don’t really pay attention to that shit but this video from Ride of the dirt finals landed in my inbox. I couldn’t help but feel for Tyler Trueman and the rest of the crew out there responsible for keeping the jumps dialed. They definitely have some work on their hands after these dudes get done eating up the landings. Lol at Tyler Fernengel bailing and then trying to outrun Dennis Enarson. It was a valiant effort though!
I’m psyched to see that the Ride boys switched things up and headed out to Wetlands to film this edit. Lots of heavy hitters in here, but I think the star is the epic (and I try not to use that word) dirt spine they have going on out there. Christ man! I’ve seen a few attempts at dirt spines over the years but never one that actually worked as well as the one in here.
It’s cool to see more and more pump tracks being built across the world. While they’ll never compare to an actual set of trails, it’s nice to see places building something other than the traditional b-ball courts, football fields, or even pre-fab parks that seem to be the go-to. I spotted this new pump track called the Southbrook Pump Park that’s being built in Brookings, South Dakota over on Ride and I had to throw it up on here. With any luck more of these will pop up around the country and help get more people into the feeling of flowing…
I couldn’t not re-up this one from Ride that features the Cordova Brothers, Larry Edgar, and Nathan Sykes flowing their home turf.
