Short notice I know, but if you find yourself in the Seattle area tomorrow you should definitely make it a point to roll through the jam that’s going down at Greenlake! Hit the jump button for a video from last year’s jam if you’re in need of a little motivation.
I had no idea how much you guys liked this top 10 trails web edits thing until emails started pouring in over the last couple weeks asking if I was going to be doing it this year! Truth be told, I’ve been nibbling away at it since the beginning of the month but all the traveling that I’ve also been doing slowed things down a bit. It’s always a pretty tough job putting this list together, but this year was the toughest yet. After going back through 2015’s videos I ended up with a “short list” of a few dozen…
Last summer a heavy crew from the Northwest descended upon Posh and Catty and joined in with some other out-of-towners already there enjoying the well-grooved PA clay. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse very shortly after this, but at least they were able to get a couple solid days in before it did.
You are absolutely blowing it if you haven’t already watched Elliot Van Orman’s new film, “A Washington Summer” by now! Even if you have, it’s definitely worth another watch!
I was off the grid in the Shenandoah Valley yesterday so I’m a bit late to the party with posting this! Elliot Van Orman headed up to Washington last summer to visit his brother and spend some time checking out the scene up there. He documented the entire trip, and the result is this fifteen minute trails filled video. I love Elliot’s work because he does an amazing job of not only capturing the riding, but also the vibe around it.
Judas Priest and the woods of the Northwest sure do go well together! Throw a heavy crew of Northwest legends into the mix and you’ve got my favorite edit this week!
It’s been an abnormally good day for videos and I’m happy to keep it rolling with one from the lush forest of the Northwest. I’ve never seen this spot before, but damn does it look fun!
I’ve been anxiously waiting for a video from last weekend’s Greenlake Jam to pop up so I could see the changes they made to the place over the winter! Thanks to John Donald and his drone we get a first look at just what Scott Matual and the crew were up to. They were definitely busy, that’s for sure! The wind decided it didn’t want to play nice during the jam but it still looks like everybody had a good time.
Scott Matual hit me up with this flyer for the Greenlake BMX Jam that’s going down tomorrow (5/2) in Seattle. The spot has been going for an astounding 25 years, and this winter it got a major overhaul. Some 27 dump truck loads of dirt were brought in to give the whole place a facelift! Come on out and celebrate with the locals the rebirth of this historic public spot. From rollers, to tables, to full on roasters, there’s something for everybody! Hit the jump button to flashback to a video of Scott killing the place last year.
Scott Matual, 45 years young and smoother than a Tioga Comp Pool tire!
