I was hoping there would be an edit from this year’s Bangers & Mash since I missed the livecast. Not only is there an edit, but there’s a Dylan Pfohl edit! It looks like this years jam was a damn good time for everyone who made it out. How could it not be with Rick Thorne’s band playing? I do have a question though. Pat Casey knows that Fox shirt that he wears all the time is a dress, right?
The 2nd annual Bangers and Mash Jam is going down at the Stay Strong Compound this Sunday. Those of you who live in SoCal can head on out there and enjoy the festivities. The rest of us will have to settle with watching a livecast of the fun on the Stay Strong site. Hit the jump button for the flyer and all the info!
Head over to The Union and check out Nick Steben’s SoCal trails heavy photo gallery that they have up.
This edit dropped last week but it was imprisoned on another site’s player. Now that it’s free we can post it up and you can see Bob killing California. Trails are mixed in throughout so you’re going to have to sit through some park and a bit of street. The tree incident at 01:39 is one of the wildest crashes I’ve seen in a long time.
What better way to escape old man winter than with a month long trip around California in an RV. That’s just what Sam Pilgrim, Danny Pace, Sam Reynolds, and Adam Williams did. From the looks of things, it was one hell of a good time! There’s a glorified (and an actual) foam pit session right in the middle of this thing. I’d suggest skipping through it when you get there. 04:38 will get you back to the actual trails action at Aptos, Stephen Murray’s house, and finally Cory “I’m Blacker than John Lee” Nastazio’s trails.
Man I was really hoping for there to be a lot more trails in Matt’s Source X Verde edit. I guess a little Matt Priest riding trails is better than no Matt Priest riding trails. Jump to 01:22 for 14 seconds of action from Blaine’s Trails, and then to for 01:45 for a couple runs through the Stay Strong Compound.
Ok this will officially fulfill my trick edit quota for the month! I have mad respect for TJ and all the trickery he can do, but under all those circus tricks you can see that dude has some serious style. I want to bring him out the East Coast for a few weeks, put some triple clamp forks and maybe some clips on his bike to limit his tricks, and see what the end result would be. I bet he’d be flowing like creek water.
The first minute of this new Ricky Moseley edit from Profile is all trails, and Blaine’s yard even makes a rare appearance. On top of Blaine’s there’s also a couple clips from Stephen Murray’s and Bundy Canyon.
The latest Dylan Pfohl masterpiece comes in the form of Larry Edgar’s new edit for Stay Strong. It starts off at Stephen Murray’s trails, moves onto a concrete park, and then gets back to more trails at 02:02. I’m not going to lie, I skipped right through the park stuff. Larry’s riding at the trails was on point though!
Barry Nobles train Derek Sipkoi through Stephen Murray’s Stay Strong Compound. The driveway kicker caught me by surprise! The trails look very smooth.
