Seventeen on a Twenty

The local crew sure did get around this year! Wish I could say the same, but oh well. Drew Ortega managed to condense almost a whole season of trails, traveling and good times from multiple states and spots down into this 16 minute edit. Considering this was kind of a shitty year weather-wise, I’m interested to see just how much more these dudes get around next season. Of course that’s assuming the weather cooperates a bit more.

Virginia Is For Trails

I’ll be the first to admit that I talk a fair amount of shit on our neighboring spot down south, the 495 Trails. Truth be told, I’m stoked that the place is still around. Back in my college days I used to set up my schedule so that I would have time to sneak out there for a session in between classes. The place has seen its share of ups and downs over the last 18 years or so, but it’s still going and still getting people psyched on riding trails. Here’s a look at the 2016 season out there…

Bikes in the Woods 2015

I’m psyched that I get to close out 2015’s post with a video of my friends riding our local spots (minus my trails). These are the guys helping keep the trails scene alive here in the DC area. We definitely went through a period of the scene almost being completely dead around here but thanks to Matt, Steve, Taylor and Chase, things are probably the best they’ve been since the days of the Capital Trails. Cheers fellas!
