I was at Texas Toast and I honestly think that this video captures the vibe and overall awesomeness of the event better than actually being there. That really doesn’t make any sense and I probably think that because my brain is still fried from the immense amount of radiation it received from the Texas sun. Anyway, there have been and will be a ton of shit dropping from Texas Toast, but I guarantee that this is going to be the best of any of them. Hilarious that Navaz said that he wasn’t planning on filming anything at Toast!
If you haven’t made it to Texas Toast yet and are in need of some more convincing whether or not to go next year then you really should press play on this. Odyssey put together this 21 minute long documentary on Toast and it’s incredible! It totally captures the vibe of the event, and if you’re one of the unfortunate few who haven’t been to a Texas Toast yet you’ll now understand why your social feeds blow up with Toast related stuff every year.
Mark’s ninja like skills earned him a well deserved spot in the finals of this years Texas Toast. Here’s a little highlight video from Subrosa showing you some of the maneuvers that landed him in 5th place.
I was hoping we’d get to see Corey’s party antics in this episode but it looks like we’ll have to wait until next time. This does give a cool view of Texas Toast though, and I even got to see some of the stuff that I missed when we were off fixing up the trails.
If you somehow missed it earlier this week!
I’ve seen, been to, and even entered a pretty good number of dirt contest in my day, but I have to say that this year’s contest at Texas Toast was by far the best! You could feel the energy in the air, and almost every rider had a huge smile on their face during their runs. With all the rain that they got beforehand it was an absolute miracle that the contest even happened. Hats off to Clint, Matty, Will, and the rest of the dudes who built the course and managed to salvage it from the deluge of rain….
I’ve been to a shit ton of dirt contest in my day but this one at Texas Toast has been the absolute best. You could actually feel the excitement and energy in the air as it was going down. Chris Childs came away with the well deserved win, and thank god he did because there would have probably been riots if he didn’t! You can check out the full results after the jump.
