Chicago’s Garden Dirt Jumps have been ripping as of late and they’re going take advantage of that with a Halloween Jam on October 28th. They’ll be giving out a prize for best costume, so come up with something good and hope the weather holds out for another week and a half! Keep up with weather and other updates via The Garden’s Instagram.
The Garden Jam is early this year! Mark it on your calendars, make plans to be there and then pray for good weather! Visit their FB Event Page for more info.
Thanks to all of you who have already picked up one of the The Garden Jumps’ “Horto In Urbs” shirts! We still have a few left that we’d like to sell so that we can get as much money back to them as possible. 100% of the proceeds from the shirts go straight to The Garden for tools, supplies and whatever else they need to keep rolling. So if you haven’t gotten one yet, consider doing so because it’s for a great cause! As for what we have left, look below for the breakdown, and then visit the CYDI STORE…
Many, many thanks to all of you who have picked up a Garden shirt already! We’re starting to run out of some sizes and colors, so I wanted you give you all a quick update on what’s left. We also came across one random small light olive shirt as well, in case you’re after a smaller size. Remember, 100% of proceeds from these goes straight to the Garden Jumps so they can keep on keeping on! You check out what we have left below and pick one up from the CYDI STORE. You can also add it straight to your…
Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time is to be able to help trails raise money for what they need to keep on keeping on. That’s why I jumped at the chance to help Chicago’s Garden Jumps out by carrying the awesome new “Horto in Urbs” t-shirts that they made in the CYDI Store. First and foremost, 100% of the proceeds from these goes straight back to The Garden for tools, supplies and to fund future projects. So pick one up and you’ll be directly helping to contribute to their growth! They’re available in black, heather grey and…
Matt Van Acker bringing us a look back on his trails adventures around the Chicago area last year. Every time I see something from there it reminds me that I really need to make it back out that way to check out the scene. I’m making it happen this year, so watch out Chicago, I’m coming for you!
Brent Stephens sent through this raw edit that his wife, Kristi filmed at The Garden Jam last weekend. Thankfully (and somewhat unbelievably) the weather finally cooperated with the jam this year. I might even dare to say that the trails looked a bit dry!
First and foremost, I have my fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for the jam this year The Garden because it definitely hasn’t been too kind to them the past few years. This Sunday (9/25) is the date that they’re going with, and they’ve already come up with a backup date of October 2nd just in case. Give their FB Page a follow to keep up with weather updates and other news leading up to the jam!
This look into the thriving Chicago area trails scene comes to us courtesy of our friend Matt Van Acker. All I know is that it’s been way too long since I’ve been to Chicago, and this very well may have provided the motivation I needed to get back out there!
Looks like I jinxed it when I said that I had my fingers crossed that the weather cooperated with The Garden Jam that was supposed to take place last Sunday. Sure enough the weather did not cooperate and they have now rescheduled the jam for September 27th. These dudes can’t catch a break!
