There were a lot of people out filming the TRA Double Cross, including Elevated Visuals‘ Troy Zeigler. It may have taken him a little bit to get this edit finished up but I look at it as a welcome reminder of how great the event was.
Chris Bird coming though with the most comprehensive TRA Double Cross edit to date. There was so much that went down that I had forgotten about until watching this. Still, my favorite moment of the event was Jeremy Ball not even getting his front wheel over the second jump and still managing to come back for the win. Too good!
Doug’s edits are always a treat, so I was pretty excited to see him at the TRA Double Cross with camera in hand. What he came up with most definitely didn’t disappoint. My only complain is that it’s left me even more anxiously waiting for next year’s event!
Crazy Al Cayne was creeping around the TRA Double Cross shooting pictures and interview folks. One of those folks happened to be Chris Doyle, and you can check out what he thought about the event in the video above. I’m pretty sure Doyle’s extreme raditude on the big jump is what caused Van to crash.
This is the best video that I’ve seen so far that truly captures just how amazing TRA‘s Double Cross was. Even at Dreamline conversations would inevitably drift into talking about Double Cross. Will it be the future of BMX racing? I highly doubt that because it’s something that’s completely different. BMX racing in its present and past form is a jock sport. Sure you get the occasional Brian Foster or Robbie Miranda who come through and shake things up, but for the most part it’s dominated by dudes who spend more time in the gym than on the bike. The…
Red Bull is first to the gate with an edit from TRA’s Double Cross. Navaz was stressing on how to film this thing but it turned out pretty damn good in my opinion. Have a watch and start planning on being at next year’s event. Oh yeah, be on the look out for Jeremy Ball’s gap to fakie at 01:06!
You’re going to be seeing a lot from this past weekend’s TRA Double Cross event. I’ve been to literally a shit ton of BMX events in my lifetime and I can honestly say that this was one of the best ones ever. I’ve been on the road since Double Cross but once I get settled in down here in Asheville I’ll hit you with my own little write up on the event. For now though here’s a run through the course with Deluxe‘s Mark Potoczny and Jeremy Ball.
The TRA Double Cross went down over the weekend and it was an absolute blast. I’ll share more of my thoughts on the event in a later post, but for now make your way over to DIG for some words and photos from Dolecki.
