Ride UK just dropped the “official” full coverage of the UK BMX Dirt Series finals. This thing is 25 minutes long and definitely has a made for tv audience vibe to it; sweet tv graphics, interviews, commentators, an overly energetic girl host and the whole nine yards.
The UK BMX Dirt Series wrapped up with a final event at Lakefest. The two jump setup was quite a departure from the full on trails that the first two rounds were held at. Even so, I think it turned out pretty damn good, and I’m definitely a fan of the double rollers they snuck in before the first set! Props to Craig Teague and the rest of the crew behind the series.
Declan Brooks brings us this inside look at round two of the UK BMX Dirt Series, and more importantly the beverage fueled festivities afterward!
Looks like the official edit for round two of the UK BMX Dirt Series is a mix of drone footage from that last edit I posted and some regular non-aerial footage. It also looks like they decided to give a little nod to Prettyshady with the soundtrack! Full results HERE.
This drone edit from GoAir3D gives us our first look at round 2 of the UK Dirt Series. It’s a little tough to tell just who’s who from this vantage point, but you can test your knowledge of people’s styles trying to figure it out. Shrews Trails really does look amazing from the air though!
I don’t know about you but I’m pretty excited to finally get a look at what went down at the first stop of the UK BMX Dirt Series. Looks like it was a complete success if you ask me! You can check out the full results over on the Series’ website. Round 2 is tomorrow (7/16) at Shrews Trails, which I’m sure will be rad!
With the first round of the UK BMX Dirt Series only being about a month and a half off, the builders are busy getting things dialed in at the host trails. Event organizer Craig Teague drops by the site of the first round, Jason Aliano’s trails to check on the progress and take you through the lines, both existing and planned. There’s also some quick interviews with the builders and a little riding as well. And I can’t not mention the shovel fit for a giant that they make for Jack Griffin!
Here’s some interesting news that Ride UK announced yesterday. There’s going to be a four stop dirt series taking place in the UK this summer. The first three stops will be held at existing trails, and the last and final round will be held at Lakefe5t. Being from the US, I’m not familiar with just what Lakefe5t is, but I’m pretty sure I know where they got the idea to replace the “s” with a “5” in the name. Anyway, check out the official announcement below and then hit up the WEBSITE they have set up for all the info…
