While this Kill the Line down in Argentina is nowhere near as rad as the old ones they use to hold at Peynier, maybe it is a stepping stone towards bringing that legendary contest back in the future. Hell, it doesn’t even have to be at Peynier. Just as long as it’s at an actual set of trails I’d be happy!
With the news that Vans Kill the Line wouldn’t be happening again until 2016, I really wasn’t expecting to see any new Kill the Line related content for another year and half. Peynier BMX surprised me though with this POV test run that Bérenger Cordier took last year. I’m pretty interested to see what they have planned for 2016. Don’t quote me on it, but I think they’re completely redoing the line. If you somehow missed the action from the 2014 Vans Kill the Line, you can give it a watch HERE.
I just spotted over on The Union that after six consecutive years the crew who put on the Vans Kill the Line contest are taking a break until 2016. Organizing and running a contest that has grown to the size of Kill the Line is a HUGE undertaking, so I don’t blame them at all for wanting to take a year off. Here’s what they had to say about it. “The world’s best BMX trails competition in Peynier, France, will be back 2016! Since 2009 the little town of Peynier in the beautiful South of France has annually witnessed a…
You’d be wrong if you thought we were all done with Kill The Line edits. Here’s a late entry courtesy of the fine folks over at Trailfever.
Missing Kill the Line already? Well you’re in luck because Rojo Toro just dropped some bonus footage on dat ass.
Spending ten days galavanting around France hitting spots and events like Kill the Line and the La Source Jam sounds like dream come true. These guys did it right!
The official video from Vans Kill the Line has finally arrived! I say this every year, but I’m figuring out a way to somehow be in Peynier for the next one.
Our friend Prettyshady Joe was creeping around Kill the Line this weekend with camera in hand. I guess we should call him Veloup Joe now. Either way, I sure have missed his edits! “My 2014 Vans kill the line ‘edit’ I spent a whole 24 hours working on this, my plan going into the event was to film a lot and then edit into something original / different / weird. Intro at 0.00 Finals action starts at 5.30 – the good runs I filmed Finals podium at 17.25 – the results Line walk though at 18.50 – walk and talk…
Unfortunately Joey wasn’t able to ride in Kill the Line due to the airline delaying her bike (been there), but luckily it showed up in time for her to get some laps in before she headed home.
Remember when BF did that 360 tree bonk at Catty in Fitlife? Well, Nyquist went and one-upped him at Kill the Line by throwing the bars. Cheeky bastard! You can get another look at it after the jump.
