I love this section from Vinyl‘s “LP” DVD! It does such a good job of capturing the good times of the trails and roasting them with friends. Now if only this winter will hurry up and be over with so we can get back to those good times!
Another week, another section from Vinyl‘s “LP” DVD! This time it’s Mark Potoczny’s part, and in my opinion it has the biggest banger in the whole video!
I was really hoping Tom would write his own description for his Vinyl “LP” part. Personally I thought it would be hilarious if he did it in the third person, but since he didn’t like that idea the job falls on me. Tom is tall, but unlike Barspinner Ryan he doesn’t look completely goofy riding a little kid’s bike. As a matter of fact he actually looks pretty good riding one, that is if you can look past the fact that his bars are in a position that young children in Chicago dream of. Seriously though, Tom’s part is one of my favorites in the video. The French trails he rides in it are absolutely amazing, and his local spot back here in the states isn’t too bad either.

We have some big things planned for the store that will be starting to take shape in just a few weeks. In preparation we’re clearing out some odds and ends including the random sizes of shirts we have left. If they happen to be your size then today is your lucky day! For the most part there are only one or two of each size and design, so if you want it this could be your last chance! The Back Bone shirt and that colorway for Vinyl’s “Dig Crest” design won’t be printed again! We may switch things up on the CYDI “Brush” shirts as well! Head over to the CYDI Store and check out what’s left.
Jeremy is the man behind the new Compression “Septembre” DVD, so it seems quite fitting to post a video of him for this week’s flashback post. Tom put this together over three years ago, and it does a pretty good job of showing you that Jems can do a bit more than just edit awesome trails videos. If you haven’t gotten a copy of “Septembre” yet, what are you waiting for?
Tucked away in a small mountain town there is a incredible place for you to ride your bike. The Frisco Bike Park is a free dirt park made for BMX, MTB’s, and any type of bicycle you can imagine. I should mention that the tax payers of Frisco are kind enough to pick up the tab for employees and running costs of the park. We happened to be traveling through Colorado on a Vinyl Trip and made a stop to visit our friend Cody Landers who maintains the jumps along with a few other co-workers. The gallery features Mark Potoczny, Cody Landers, Chase Zink, Tom Arkus, and Ryan Popple ripping the jumps for Brian Yeagle’s lens. Don’t be scared to put that gallery into fullscreen mode!
Well, it’s truly a sad day here at Can You Dig It. Tom has decided to hang up the BMX and move on to a bike that fits him better. It’s been awesome working with him, and I wish him the best of luck with his new endeavor. The Vinyl domain name should be coming up for sale pretty soon if anyone is interested.
