Trail Moss

BMX trails dirt jumping

Saw these mossy trail pics over on DIGMORE. I’ve become slightly obsessed with coming up with vegetation ideas for my woods. As much as I would love to have moss creeping up all the lips and landings I think my spot gets too much sunlight. I’m leaning towards using grass but haven’t quite figured out how I’m going to go about getting it to grow on the jumps.

  1. YOGHURT! is the answer you are looking for. Your clay/mud should be damp first then just paint on some Natural live or plain yogurt. Keep treated area damp. do some research and im sure you will find a way that works for you. Peace and happy mossing

  2. Do it Aloise style. Break up the side of the jump and just put grass seed in there. It’ll grow.
