Turn Your Bars

If you haven’t heard already, myself and a couple friends decided to start a new site called Turn Your Bars that branches out from just trails, and into our other cycling interests. Basically we thought other sites covering those disciplines were kinda lame, so why not make our own that posted and created the kind of content riders like us wanted to see. Ok, maybe saying they’re lame is a bit harsh. A better explanation would be that their content tends to be geared towards a different audience. Seeing as we’re just a bunch of BMXers, and more specifically trail riders, we just want to see people riding, building, and doing cool shit.

Originally the plan was that even though we’d also be posting trails stuff alongside other content on the new site, I’d keep CYDI going as well. That was until I really started digging into the backend of CYDI and realizing how much of a pain in the ass it was going to be to update it to modern standards. As is, a ton of older post won’t display on mobile devices, or they’re just broken all together. It just doesn’t make sense to invest the time and resources it would take to try and get the site updated and working properly. So, I’ve decided that moving forward I’ll just be posting on Turn Your Bars.

Now I’m sure there are some of you out there who have absolutely zero interest in seeing anything other than just trails content, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. The good news is that we created a page on Turn Your Bars that only displays trails content. All you have to do to get there is just scroll down to the bottom, click on the Triclops, and BOOM, it’s just like CYDI!

With all that said, check out Turn Your Bars! We have a lot in the works, and the spirit of CYDI will definitely live on in what we do!
